The British Choice is a fast-growing, customer-focused British grocery store with two locations in Texas—Katy and Magnolia—plus a nationwide online store shipping across the continental U.S.
Our Story
What started in 2017 as a small stall at a local farmers market in Magnolia, Texas, quickly grew into something much bigger. Selling our own range of handmade pies and pasties, we soon expanded to include imported British dry goods, leading to the opening of our first retail store just three months later.
By 2018, we launched our online store, making it easier than ever for customers across the U.S. to get a taste of home.
In 2019, we opened our second retail location in Katy, Texas, followed by exciting expansions:

2021: Our Magnolia store moved to a larger location to better serve our growing community.

Meet the Owner
Founder Sarah is originally from Sutton Coldfield, a suburb of Birmingham in the West Midlands. After moving to the U.S. from the UK, she eventually settled in The Woodlands, Texas, where she turned her love of British food into a thriving business. What began with a single farmers market stall in 2017 has since grown into two bustling retail shops and a popular online store — all dedicated to helping customers feel a little closer to home.
